Hi, I’m George Koke from Montague, Prince Edward Island.

I curl at the Montague Curling Club.  I am married to Judy and we have a daughter, Connie who has 4 children (2 boys- 2 girls) and a son, Cody, who has 2 children (boy and girl).  I am the General Manager of Island Construction.

Curling Accomplishments:  Competitive Curling was mostly related to the Canadian Firefighters Curling which is open to professional and volunteer firefighters across the country.  Along with teammates, I won 10 Provincial Titles over a period of 15 years giving the opportunity to compete Nationally in almost every province across the country. As a team, we won the bronze medals for PEI in the 1993 and 1994 National Championships and I was awarded all-star third in the 2000 and 2002 Nationals.

 

Other interests: Hobbies include golf, woodworking, boating.

Other points of interest: served as Volunteer Firefighter twelve years, President of the Montague Curling Club eight years, President PEI Curling Association three years. Currently a Board member of Canadian Construction Association, PEI Roadbuilders Association, Georgetown Port Authority.  Member of the Montague Rotary Club. 

Favorite pastime: Spending time with family, especially grandkids.
